Valley Rattler Steam Train
THE VALLEY RATTLER
The Valley Rattler steam heritage tours are operated by The Mary Valley Heritage Railway (MVHR) every Saturday, Sunday and Wednesdays.
Tours depart from the historic Gympie Railway station and the destination varies according to the day of operation.
The “Red Rocket” Heritage Railmotor operates every Tuesday morning.

Gympie Gold Mining
GYMPIE GOLD MINING & HISTORICAL MUSEUM
The Gympie Gold Mining and Historical Museum are set in the beautiful gardens of Lake Alford.
Gympie has over 100 years of Gold mining history. The City was founded on Gold mining . With more than 30 displays take a few hours or a full day with the family or a group of friends and discover the region’s past. Great picnic grounds and BBQ areas surround the museum, so you can bring your own lunch and relax by the lake or dine in the cafés at the park.

GYMPIE REGIONAL GALLERY
The Gympie Regional Gallery is housed in the beautiful and original School of Arts Building, built in 1905.
It is a community oriented gallery celebrating its own professional and amateur artists whilst introducing to the community a reasonable range of high quality shows from elsewhere in Australia.

GYMPIE WOODWORKS FORESTRY
& TIMBER MUSEUM
Woodworks, Forestry and Timber Museum, is a living historical museum focused on the timber and forestry industries from their colonial beginnings up to the 1950`s.
The Museum provides a fascinating insight into the role of forestry and timber in Queensland`s and Gympie region`s colonial beginnings through a significant collection including pioneering handtools, timber samples, timber getting and forestry equipment and associated transport.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice prior to check-in-time, will be charged at full rate for the first night accommodation booked. Failure to check-in (No Show) will be charged as above.

We accept Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Eftpos and American Express (Amex Cards will attract a 3.5% surcharge). Cheques will not be accepted unless by prior arrangement and paid in advance.
